Skip it if you…

- Players seeking a long campaign; the campaign is described as about 6–8 hours
- Players who want to design vehicles using a controller, since that task requires a keyboard and mouse
Our take on Making it Home
Players who expect to design entirely with a controller may hit a wall at the vehicle-building screen: controllers cover the platforming, but construction requires a keyboard and mouse. The other defining hurdle comes once the machine moves, when keeping it running means scrambling across its parts.
What is Making it Home?
Play as a ladybug trying to reach home for her daughter’s birthday in a 2D physics builder combined with platforming.
Assemble a vehicle from parts such as wheels, sails, steam engines, and solar panels, then move across it to keep it running: raise sails, clean panels, and jump between pieces. Choose a route across the USA and face wildlife and hazards, including drones and carrots. Runs unlock components for future attempts; the campaign takes about 6–8 hours. Cozy Mode removes hazards and enemies and lets players explore the story at a slower pace.
A sandbox offers daily, weekly, and monthly building challenges with limited parts. The campaign supports co-op for up to 3 friends, locally or online through Steam Remote Play Together. Controllers work for platforming, but vehicle design requires a keyboard and mouse.
