Luna is unemployed and wants to buy her favorite magical-girl figure.
When a magical-girl team recruits in her city, she applies for the job and begins an adventure. MAHOUTEQ! is a visual novel centered on text and story, with graphics drawn in MS Paint, human-made music, and CG artwork. Its combat uses two buttons in turn-based encounters. The narrative has no different endings and does not present difficult choices, giving it a fixed, movie-like structure. The game also includes a very long cat.
