Our take on Magellania
Players who want to plan badge builds around guaranteed rewards may hit a wall when most badge drops are randomized. That uncertainty carries into repeated campaign runs, where team compositions and badge setups can change, so fixed-build planning is not the central loop.
What is Magellania?
Magellania is a turn-based tactics RPG set in a reimagined Solar System.
Prince Lofty of Pluto begins an invasion after other planetary rulers decline his birthday invitations. Players assemble a team from multiple classes and fight enemy factions; defeating them unlocks color palettes for recruitment. Combat includes action commands and a combo system that increases damage. Badges provide effects that can be combined in different setups, while most badge drops are randomized. Players can visit planets and collect CDs that change the background music in certain scenarios. The main campaign can be replayed with different teams and badge configurations, followed by an extensive postgame.
