Is MachRace worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who want short, reaction-focused survival racing sessions
- Racing fans who prefer futuristic speeds over conventional track driving
- Score chasers interested in competing through a global leaderboard
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want several finished levels, since the current alpha contains one playable endless level
- Players who prefer measured racing, since the game pushes speed and reactions toward extreme limits
- Users unwilling to deal with possible interruptions in an Early Access Alpha release
- Players looking for full controller or joystick support, since controller support is currently partial
Our take on MachRace
The bounce point arrives when the single playable level reaches its high-speed survival rhythm: players seeking a broad campaign may hit the wall after exhausting that endless stage, while controller-focused users may stop at partial support.
What is MachRace?
MachRace is a casual survival racer set across futuristic terrain, where speed and reaction time shape each run.
The current alpha includes an endless first level capped at around 3600 mph, procedural challenges, drones, and a boss fight. Players can pilot four distinct ships and record their best score on a global, signup-free in-game leaderboard. Partial controller support is available for Xbox, Steam, and PS4 controllers through DS4Windows. The game is being developed by a single developer and is currently in Early Access Alpha, with possible interruptions to functionality. Four additional levels, three ship designs, four more boss fights, and story-related systems are listed as planned developments.

MachRace compared to similar games
MachRace focuses on extreme-speed survival racing, procedural levels, ship selection, and score chasing. Barro centers on small-car races across tracks, with arcade races against three opponents, time trials, and split-screen multiplayer. OutDrive is presented as a music runner built around a car-engine timer and neon scenery rather than MachRace's ship-based survival structure.
