Our take on Lost to Time
Rather than treating time as a background story device, the game makes it part of the core action-platforming structure. Combat, puzzles, and navigation all involve Chrona’s control over time, while Magi replace a conventional fixed weapon set with changeable combat identities.
What is Lost to Time?
Lost to Time is a 2D action platforming metroidvania set in a fantasy RPG world.
Chrona can pause and manipulate time to gain advantages in fights, overcome obstacles, and solve puzzles. Exploration takes place across a connected world containing enemies, bosses, secrets, and multiple endings. Chrona can discover Magi, transform into them, and use their combat abilities as different weapons and fighting styles. She can also learn abilities for navigating the environment. RPG systems include crafting, leveling, and character builds, with replay options based on different Magi and builds. The game also presents consequences for Chrona’s actions and choices. A demo is available, and its save files transfer to the purchased game.
