Our take on Lost in Random™
The store presentation foregrounds the dice premise and dark fairy-tale setting, while the actual structure also depends on exploration, quests, card collection, and tactical combat. Randomness is one part of a broader action-adventure framework, not the whole experience.
What is Lost in Random™?
Lost in Random is a gothic action-adventure set in a kingdom divided into six realms, where a cursed black die determines citizens’ lives.
Players follow Even, a girl searching for her sister, alongside Dicey, a living die. Exploration leads through cobbled streets, quests, encounters with residents, and battles staged in changing board-game arenas. Combat combines tactical decisions, card collection, and dice-based actions, with rolls affecting the course of each fight. The story presents a dark fairy tale about resisting a fate controlled by the kingdom’s ruler. Each realm has its own rules, while Even’s journey involves helping inhabitants, learning to use Dicey, and uncovering an old story.
