Our take on Lost Hope: Backrooms
The game trades constant pursuit for flexibility by including No Entity Mode. That option supports undisturbed exploration, but removes the entity encounters and related pressure that shape progression in the standard experience.
What is Lost Hope: Backrooms?
Explore more than 20 handcrafted levels set in an abandoned laboratory connected to Last Hope Inc.
Each environment contains puzzles, secrets, lore, dangerous routes, and multiple ways to advance. Collectibles can be traded for tool upgrades and equipment improvements that provide new capabilities. The story follows one character investigating the story of another. More than seven entities appear throughout the levels, each with distinct behaviors and mechanics that affect progression. A No Entity Mode removes the hunting threat, allowing exploration without entities pursuing the player. The game combines environmental exploration, puzzle solving, collection, trading, equipment upgrades, and story discovery across its levels.
