Our take on Locomoto
Train travel serves as the setting for a domestic management loop rather than a combat-focused adventure. Passenger care, resource gathering, fishing, and interior decoration accompany station visits and story progression, with the train functioning as both transport and a customizable living space.
What is Locomoto?
Locomoto combines train management, exploration, crafting, and character customization.
Players create a conductor, choose outfits, alter wagon types and paint colors, and furnish the train interior. Trips involve boarding passengers, fueling the train with coal, choosing a destination, and keeping travelers happy by chatting or serving a drink or pie. At stations, players meet locals, help with their problems, and progress through a story about Barrenpyre’s environmental struggles. Between journeys, players can recycle items in exchange for tokens, chop wood, mine ore, fish, and craft furniture. New wagons add storage and passenger space, while conductor outfits offer more ways to customize the character.
