Our take on Load Slinging VR Training
The bounce point comes at the sling-selection step: workers must account for the process route, load weight and dimensions, and sling capacity before moving on to attachment and lifting. People looking for a broad safety-training package may also hit a wall because the practice centers on load slinging.
What is Load Slinging VR Training?
This virtual reality simulator teaches load-slinging procedures for workplace professionals.
It determines the handling sequence from the load’s mass and size together with the slings’ rated capacity, then asks trainees to select textile or metal equipment. Exercises include attaching, looping, and positioning slings, followed by a preliminary raise of 200–300 mm, allowing the load to be brought down when necessary. Once this inspection is complete, a handheld controller is used to transport the suspended load through a hangar. The learning version is free. Paid access adds the complete feature set, assessment activities, and longer operating periods. Organizations can also obtain expanded licensing arrangements.
