Our take on Little Merchant Legend
The central loop is cross-settlement trading: goods bought in one place travel by caravan to another, where prices can shape when to sell.
What is Little Merchant Legend?
Create a caravan and travel among settlements, buying goods where prices are low and selling them where prices rise.
Settlements range from villages and small towns to big cities, with different products, supply levels, and spending power. Manage guards to reduce the risk of goods being stolen, and provide enough vehicles and carrying capacity for the stock. Markets handle buying and selling; hotels let the caravan rest and pass time while prices change.
Taverns offer guards, transport, and sales information, while banks hold cash and provide loans. Set up a booth to sell goods, with sales affected by product popularity, price, local influence, and residents’ spending power. After building sufficient influence and funds, open a store, hire staff, and manage its inventory and prices while sourcing goods from other regions.
