Our take on Let's Minesweeper
The shared-world format supports a vast ongoing minefield, but gives up the compact board boundaries and isolated puzzle flow associated with traditional Minesweeper rounds.
What is Let's Minesweeper?
Let's Minesweeper places players in a shared 48-million-tile minefield containing over 10 million mines in each game.
Up to 10,000 players can occupy the same screen while cooperating or competing to clear the map and claim territory. Numbered tiles show how many mines are present in the surrounding eight spaces, supporting deduction, mine marking, and gradual clearing. Flags placed on the map are recorded, and play can resume a few seconds after a loss. Players earn points for uncovering safe tiles and marking mines correctly. Points can be exchanged for interface decorations, including flag styles, tile backgrounds, and more than 100 decorative skins overall.
