Our take on Legion Tale
The linear campaign gives the story a defined direction, but limits player control over narrative progression. Timing-based attacks add another combat task, which may feel less suitable for players who prefer purely menu-driven turn-based battles.
What is Legion Tale?
Legion Tale is a turn-based tactical game set on the medieval continent of Agia, where two races remain locked in a long conflict.
Alan, a young leader from Scarleta, commands a small legion after an ambush by the Dark Lord’s forces. The campaign follows the effort to restore the world while uncovering the cause of the war. Battles use a tactical combo system: continuing an attack requires clicking a combo circle while it overlaps the attack circle. Combat also includes a Strength-Wisdom-Agility affinity triangle. The linear story spans up to 30 chapters and includes objectives such as killing targets, surviving, escaping, and eliminating enemies. Ten heroes appear throughout the campaign, each with their own story.
How Legion Tale plays

- 03Objective Variety
- Missions can require target kills, survival, escape, or enemy elimination.
- 04Ten Hero Stories

- 05Linear Campaign
- The narrative progresses through up to 30 chapters with hand-drawn backgrounds.
