Our take on Later On
Its defining structure is a short top-down mystery in which item-use puzzles and text-based fights carry David’s search for his missing friend.
What is Later On?
Later On is a 2D top-down adventure about David, a discouraged young man searching for his missing friend Nico in the small town of Later On.
During the search, David meets Prea, who works at a hospital, and Luna, a werewolf who loses control of her actions when transformed. The story focuses on guilt, coping, responsibility, and confronting personal demons. Progress involves collecting objects and using them from the inventory at suitable locations. The game also includes text-based fights and strange events involving David and his new companions. Keyboard controls support movement, running in certain places, actions, inventory access, and map viewing. A walkthrough is available for players who become stuck.
