Our take on Labyronia RPG 2
Its exploration systems and partly non-linear structure trade a fixed, tightly guided route for player-directed movement through the world. Visible enemies also reduce surprise encounters outside the world map, making engagement more deliberate.
What is Labyronia RPG 2?
Ten years after the first game, Labyronia has become a frozen wasteland under the influence of an evil force.
Players roam a large world as the remaining humans seek a way to reverse the apocalypse. Progression is partly non-linear, with exploration tied to the Cue system: abnormalities provide skills, while collecting Cues creates an additional challenge. Combat uses Yanfly's battle engine and includes strategic boss encounters. Random battles appear on the world map, where they can usually be avoided. Outside the map, enemies are visible rather than randomly triggered, allowing encounters to be approached or bypassed.
