Our take on Kungfu Cowboy
Players may bounce off the movement system before reaching the build-crafting loop. Shooting, dashing and dodging must be combined with platforming, and Hard Mode adds tougher enemies and trickier traversal for those who continue.
What is Kungfu Cowboy?
Kungfu Cowboy is a run-and-gun platformer with roguelike elements.
Players move through randomly generated worlds alone, with 2–4 players online, or in 2-player local cooperation. Competitive modes include 10-player online matches and 5v5 team battles. Runs combine shooting, dashing, dodging, platforming obstacles and boss encounters. Headshots inflict more damage than body shots, while kungfu dashes can pass through attacks and hazards. Weapon upgrades and gunfu abilities can be stacked to shape a run. Enemies, levels and upgrades change between runs. Hard Mode adds tougher enemies, more demanding platforming and additional chaos. The game supports keyboard and mouse as well as twin-stick controller controls, and requires an internet connection.

Kungfu Cowboy compared to similar games
Abyssus also combines multiplayer shooting with roguelite progression, but its description centers on tactical combat through hand-crafted levels and weapon refitting. Kungfu Cowboy instead uses randomized platforming runs, headshot-focused shooting, kungfu dashes and competitive modes including 10-player and 5v5 play.
