Skip it if you…

- Players wanting a narrowly focused combat game may find the mix of exploration, graphic-adventure elements, and troop control diffuse
- Players looking for large-scale strategic warfare may find the troop management narrower than a dedicated RTS
Our take on Kofi Quest
The hybrid structure gives up specialization for variety: real-time fighting, troop commands, exploration, and graphic-adventure elements share the same campaign. That leaves less room for any one system to define the entire experience.
What is Kofi Quest?
Control Kofi, a weak, lazy, and unlucky videogame character, as he travels through Neighborwood with a group of unusual companions.
The game combines Action RPG, RTS, and graphic-adventure mechanics. Combat takes place in real time, with direct fighting and control over allied troops. Troops can be equipped, and Captains provide special skills. Exploration centers on uncovering secrets throughout Neighborwood. The comic story features characters aware that they are in a videogame, along with voice acting and a soundtrack inspired by JRPGs. Kofi begins with a broken sword and can ride a direwolf, while his best friend is a booger.
