- Players looking for action without rhythm-based mechanics
Our take on Klang
Making timing central to movement and combat limits the space for unstructured exploration and slower encounters. The 2 to 4 hour playtime also leaves the Nightcore mode as the main stated extension.
What is Klang?
Klang combines rhythm-game timing with fast exploration, platforming, and combat.
Players take the role of a tuneblade-wielding rave warrior attempting to escape Soundlord Sonus. Movement and attacks are timed to audio-visual cues across increasingly challenging levels. The game features an original soundtrack by EDM composer bLiNd, 2 to 4 hours of playtime, and an unlockable Nightcore difficulty mode. Controls support a keyboard, Xbox 360 controller, Xbox One controller, or PS4 controller. Steam Trading Cards are included.
