Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Shoot-'em-up newcomers may hit a wall when trying to complete the game; the vendor warns that it may be impossible without genre experience.

- Players seeking a game centered on exploration rather than arcade shooting may not find that structure here.
Our take on KIKURA
The likely sticking point is the arcade-shooting challenge: the vendor specifically cautions that players without shoot-'em-up experience may be unable to finish. Restarting from the failed stage softens the penalty, but does not remove that skill barrier.
What is KIKURA?
KIKURA is a retro arcade-style shoot-'em-up set in a parallel Japan inhabited by gods and yokai.
Office worker Setsuna and clock yokai Tsukumo investigate a cursed beach by fighting the yokai appearing there. Play through six stages in sequence. Three special mechanics shape combat: KIK stops time, GST increases attack power and grants invincibility, and REN converts enemy bullets into point items. If a run ends, the game allows restarting from the stage where the game over occurred. The vendor says the game is intended for players with some shoot-'em-up experience and warns that completing it may be impossible for newcomers to the genre. Its soundtrack combines Japanese and Chinese instruments with modern rhythms.
