Jade Empire: Special Edition is an action RPG about an aspiring martial-arts master whose decisions determine the fate of the Jade Empire.
The story supports opposing moral paths, allowing the protagonist to protect the land or rule through force. Players meet a wide cast of characters, travel through mysterious regions, and face monsters and other enemies. Real-time combat combines role-playing elements with multiple fighting styles. The Special Edition adds new enemies, additional styles, revised combat AI, selectable difficulty levels, higher-resolution graphics, new visual effects, and a redesigned world-map interface. Controls can be customized for gamepads or keyboard and mouse.
