Invasion is a science-fiction action-adventure thriller set around a silent Mars colony.
The story sends players to investigate the colony's sectors and nearby areas after reports of discoveries involving water and life. The game uses standard first-person shooter mechanics across seven levels and provides six different weapons. Its space setting focuses on emptiness, alien obscurity, and exploration of new worlds. Chapter Selection allows any chapter to be started directly. The story can also be played with pixel-based graphics for a retro presentation. An Early Access third-person shooter mode is available as an additional way to play.
