Our take on Into The Inferno
Rather than centering on a broad world-saving conflict, the campaign gives its dungeon crawl a specific recovery mission: finding kidnapped children and the remains of miners lost in an old mine disaster. The rescue objectives sit alongside the expected demon-hunting expedition.
What is Into The Inferno?
Into The Inferno is a retro-style, first-person dungeon-crawling RPG with turn-based combat.
The story follows a party investigating a burning mine where demons have appeared after an explosion six years earlier. The group travels through wilderness, an Orc village, a Gnoll town, winding caverns, and tunnels filled with brimstone. Exploration and combat support the central mission of finding children kidnapped by demons. The party gains experience and equipment while confronting the demon horde. Another objective is recovering the remains of eleven miners who died in the original explosion, allowing their families to receive closure. The campaign ends with an effort to remove the demon threat and bring the rescued children back to town.
