Our take on INSPIRE
Rather than centering its adventure on a fixed character loadout, the game pairs weapon customization with a backpack that transforms into movement equipment. Its changing seasons and player-influenced events also replace a static backdrop with a world that shifts during play.
What is INSPIRE?
Set in 2042, INSPIRE follows a Bionically Enhanced Collector working for Earth’s global employment agency during an alien arrival.
This top-down shooter combines close combat using bionic abilities with ranged attacks from customizable weapons. Exploration takes place across a stylized semi-open version of futuristic Earth, including forests, craters, and icy mountains. A transformable backpack companion accompanies the player and can become a jetpack for traversing the world. Day-and-night cycles and changing seasons alter the environment. Player actions affect dynamic events recorded by the game’s Battle System. The game also includes an electronic soundtrack created by Husman.
