Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a quiet or exploration-led experience may bounce off the constant arena fighting and frequent enemy groups.
- Players who dislike escalating combat challenges may hit a wall as tournaments become harder across the campaign.
- Players looking for a nonviolent game will not fit the emphasis on dismemberment, burning, and other graphic attacks.
Our take on I, Gladiator
The bounce point arrives when fights combine several enemy types, arena hazards, and lions at once. Players who have not learned to exploit weaknesses or position opponents around environmental objects may hit the wall before the later tournaments.
What is I, Gladiator?
I, Gladiator follows Rufus, an arena champion caught in a conflict between two Roman gods.
Players fight through 80 levels across different locations and increasingly difficult tournaments, facing groups of enemies with distinct combat styles, lions, and traps.
