Our take on I commissioned some snails
The game concentrates on locating objects in artwork, giving up broader systems such as combat, exploration, and character progression. Unlimited hints also reduce the pressure of solving searches without assistance.
What is I commissioned some snails?
Search 15 artworks for more than 1,500 hidden objects, including over 750 snails and over 750 lettuces.
Each level starts unlocked and offers its own difficulty. Unlimited hints can reveal objects without affecting achievements or score. Mouse controls handle movement and zooming, with keyboard alternatives for both. Music is optional for each artwork. Progress can be stored in 3 save slots, and a reset option starts the entire game again. A replay feature restores a small number of found objects to an artwork, including random placements, so completed paintings can be searched again. A timer records completion time for each level.
