What is Hydraulic Empire?
Hydraulic Empire combines tower defense with RPG elements and centers its strategy on interactions between mobs.
The order in which mobs die can open some interactions, block others, and change where towers should be built across a level. The game includes 21 levels at launch, 10 mob types, 10 towers, and a builder who gains levels during play. A hero or builder can also participate directly in battles. The vendor states that the launch version contains about 15 hours of gameplay, with additional levels planned over time. Its story follows the Keeper, a First Lieutenant General defending conquered land against a new enemy and seeking aid.
