What is Hunter Gatherer?
Hunter Gatherer is a top-down adventure about finding a way home after getting lost in the woods.
A forest spirit offers directions toward the player’s hometown in return for ingredients for a meal. Finding some ingredients means traveling long distances through a randomly generated world. Along the way, players gather food and materials, set traps, make a fire before dark, and avoid or fight dangerous monsters. Monster groups appear in different forms, and some camps can be hunted down. Survival in the woods centers on collecting supplies for both the player and the spirit’s meal.
