House of Rules is a horror puzzle game about working as a waterer in a mansion called Black Kiwa.
After answering a job advertisement promising 30 G per hour, the player encounters unusual workplace protocols and suspicious co-workers. Daily duties involve watering plants, following the stated rules, and solving puzzles and riddles across the mansion. The investigation reveals hidden information through twists, distinctive characters, and multiple possible conclusions. The game includes 20 collectible endings and 20 in-game achievements, for 40 Steam achievements in total. The full version also adds a post-credits scene after ending 20 and an item unlocked by collecting every ending.
