Our take on Hotdog Runner
Its defining structure is a score chase built around collecting hotdogs while dodging course hazards. The magnet and shield power-ups change how nearby items and red-shining obstacles are handled, with golden hotdogs and obstacle destruction adding distinct scoring values.
What is Hotdog Runner?
Hotdog Runner is a score-focused runner in which Simon moves through courses filled with walls, pits, logs, barrels, and crates.
Hotdogs add 1 point, while golden hotdogs add 5 points. A magnet draws nearby hotdogs toward the player, and a shield grants invincibility against red-shining obstacles. Destroying an obstacle while invincible awards 10 bonus points. The game includes personal-best competition and a global leaderboard. Version 1. 2 adds changing scenery, including a scary forest, zombie city, and t44 setting, with lighting and fog changes. Power-ups can now stack, and their timers appear in the upper-right corner. The update also changes some scenery textures, increases bullet firing speed, and adjusts course corners.

Hotdog Runner compared to similar games
Hotdog Runner centers on collecting hotdogs, avoiding obstacles, and using magnets or shields to build a score. Super Chicken Jumper is also a runner, but its description adds jumping, shooting, and destroying enemies as central actions. The other listed games describe quests, puzzle solving, rhythm matching, or AI nation simulation rather than the same obstacle-running task.
