Our take on HOPSHOT
Instead of giving its platforming character a conventional movement set, HOPSHOT limits the frog to hopping and shooting. Mid-air trajectory changes make each jump a planning decision, while automatic saving after every jump breaks progress into small stages.
What is HOPSHOT?
This challenging precision platformer follows a solitary gay frog carrying a pistol.
Movement is limited to leaps and gunfire, requiring route planning, careful aiming, and shots to overcome hazards. The frog can redirect its path while airborne, making each jump a tactical choice. Hidden skin colors and hats provide secrets to find, while progress is saved automatically whenever a jump ends. Jumping, aiming, and firing are the only three controls. Failure can cast the frog into the base of the Wishing Well, a place inhabited by lost souls.
