Our take on HoneyLand
The defining constraint is that movement cards are consumed after use, making each map a limited-action routing puzzle.
What is HoneyLand?
HoneyLand is a turn-based puzzle game about guiding Mr.
Fluff, a hungry bear, through an island filled with honey. Each map gives a fixed number of cards, and using a card consumes it while directing the bear along a chosen route. The available actions include running, jumping, and falling onto the bear’s stomach. The goal is to collect all the honey and reach the honey volcano. The game contains 30 handcrafted levels that become more complex as they progress, with three environments to explore. Two card types provide the actions used to control Mr. Fluff’s movement and determine his path through each map.
How HoneyLand plays
- 01Card-Based Movement
- Cards are consumed when used, so each map requires movement choices from a fixed supply.
- 02Thirty Levels
- The handcrafted stages increase in complexity across the game.
- 03Three Environments
- The island is divided into three different settings.
- 04Two Card Types
- Two kinds of cards provide the actions that direct Mr. Fluff.
