AdventureIs HOLEHOLE worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Adventure players who prefer unmarked exploration over guided objectives
- Visual novel fans who want resident conversations alongside dungeon searching
- Players seeking low-pressure progression with few timed tasks
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who need quest markers or item indicators may hit a wall when navigating without them.
- Players looking for frequent combat may lose interest because the true ending includes only one battle.
- Players seeking a tightly scheduled daily routine may find the lack of a specific purpose for each day too open-ended.
Our take on HOLEHOLE
The bounce point arrives when exploration becomes self-directed: without markers for objects or quests, players must decide where to search and what to pursue. Combat-focused players may hit another wall at the game's single-battle structure, which leaves conversation and collection as the main activities.
What is HOLEHOLE?
HOLEHOLE is a relaxed adventure game centered on free exploration, object collection, and conversations with residents.
After falling into a hole, the player can search the dungeon for scattered items and encounter people, but exploration is optional. There are no object or quest markers, and days have no required purpose. Progress combines visual novel-style scenes with resident interactions and preparation for later exploration. The true ending requires increasing status through eating, winning the game's single battle, and giving items to three people. The game includes few tasks with time pressure and permits players to set their own pace. Individual and business streaming are allowed without permission.

- 04Status Through Eating

- 05Optional Dungeon Search
- The dungeon can be explored for objects and residents, but the player may choose not to explore.
