Highway to the Moon is a scrolling arcade shooter about Jacob Helaway, a stunt performer pursuing an interstellar criminal called the Moon Man.
The action takes place on a highway that Jacob must stay on while destroying enemies and crossing gaps. The Phase Shifter lets him become intangible, ignore physics, fly over breaks in the road, and pass through bullets. Varied weapons provide different forms of attack, while bosses add larger encounters. The Reality Alternator allows changes to the gameplay experience. Progression includes new weapons, characters, and other unlocks. The game supports Windows XP and later, with play available through an Xbox 360 controller or keyboard and mouse.
