Our take on Hidden Facade
The store page foregrounds multiple endings and the mystery surrounding Barbara’s death. The described interaction is narrower: players inspect marked objects and make story choices, with no further gameplay systems outlined.
What is Hidden Facade?
Hidden Facade follows John and Ana after the death of their daughter, Barbara.
Both parents experience visions and dreams as the boundary between reality and fiction becomes unclear. Players control the two main characters and hear each person’s account of the tragedy. Their stories overlap, while Barbara’s ghost is presented as the only voice that knows the truth. Interactable objects are marked by a dot at the center of the screen, although some marked objects cannot be used. Choices made during the game lead to different endings, leaving players to decide which character to believe and how to interpret the events at the lake.
How Hidden Facade plays
- 01Two Character Viewpoints
- John and Ana each present their own account of the family tragedy.
- 02Branching Endings
- Player decisions determine which conclusion the story reaches.
- 03Object Interaction
- A central-screen dot indicates objects that may be interactable, though not every marked object can be used.
