Our take on Hard Work
The focus on factory operations limits the scope of management to equipment placement, material processing, packaging, staffing, and profit. It does not present the broader systems associated with managing an entire empire or multiple industries.
What is Hard Work?
Begin with little money and a small lot, then build a factory by purchasing equipment and hiring workers.
Arrange machines to create a production line, order materials such as wood, plastic, and metal, and supply them to the factory for conversion into finished products. Pack the goods into boxes, stack them on pallets, and wrap the pallets with a pallet-wrapping machine. A forklift is available for handling pallets. Worker management includes hiring, firing, and changing pay; workers may quit when they do not receive a raise. The game also includes business struggles and a leveling system that grants bonus funds every 24 hours according to profit margins.
How Hard Work plays
- 01Worker management
- Staff can be hired or dismissed, while pay changes may affect whether workers remain employed.
- 02Production workflow
- Materials are ordered, supplied to the factory, converted into products, boxed, and stacked on pallets.
- 03Pallet handling
- Finished pallets can be wrapped with a pallet-wrapping machine and moved with a forklift.
- 04Profit-based bonuses
- The leveling system grants bonus funds every 24 hours based on profit margins.
