Skip it if you…

- Players looking for a broad non-VR space game rather than a virtual reality experience
Our take on Hard Vacuum
The cockpit-focused VR design gives up multiplayer scope: the experience is built for solo sorties rather than cooperative or competitive sessions. Its control depth also asks players to manage flight systems and commands instead of offering a purely pick-up-and-play arcade format.
What is Hard Vacuum?
Pilot one of three starships in a single-player virtual reality combat game with interactive cockpit controls.
Motion controllers, HOTAS, gamepads, or gaze combined with HOTAS or a gamepad can be used for flight. Newtonian physics allows flight assistance to be switched on or off. AI wingmen can receive commands during missions. Progression includes new weapons and ship-system improvements. The narrative campaign presents varied scenarios, while the Mercenary mode generates missions and lets pilots earn credits for upgrading ships and wingmen before a final confrontation. Sustain mode focuses on surviving successive attacks from hostile craft.
