Our take on Halloween Stories: Horror Movie Collector's Edition

Rather than centering horror on combat or survival systems, this adventure uses hidden-object scenes and mini-games to move its story forward. Its three-film structure frames the search for Ellie’s friends as a sequence of point-and-click investigations.

What is Halloween Stories: Horror Movie Collector's Edition?

Two years after Ellie’s friends disappeared into a cursed horror movie, the tape returns on Halloween.

Guide Ellie through three films as she searches for her friends and faces ghosts, creeps, and slashers. The game combines a story-driven, point-and-click adventure with scenes where players locate listed objects and complete mini-games and puzzles. The Collector’s Edition adds a bonus investigation with Detective Jessica Holmes at a local high school. It also includes hidden figures, puzzle pieces, and morphing objects to find, plus a Secret Room. Players can replay hidden-object scenes and mini-games to earn achievement awards, and view wallpapers, concept art, and music. A strategy guide is included.
