Our take on Halftime Heroes
Rather than building around a long campaign, this action RPG uses brief survival matches and makes defeat part of progression. Returning stronger after death, combined with class selection, dice-based treasure, and spell combinations, replaces the usual one-way adventure structure.
What is Halftime Heroes?
Halftime Heroes is a survival action RPG built around short, intense matches against hordes of monsters and five bosses.
Players choose from six classes, including warrior, wizard, ranger, monk, rogue, and cleric, each with different strengths. During runs, characters learn spells, gain levels, collect loot, spend gold on skills, and combine stats and spells. Four modes are available for different playthroughs. A luck-based dice roll affects the treasure found. Defeat unlocks stronger progression: after dying, players can upgrade skills or open additional features, then return to another match. Class roles range from the warrior’s high survival to the wizard’s spell focus, the monk’s damage output, the rogue’s luck, and the cleric’s balanced abilities.
