Our take on Graviteam Tactics: Operation Star
The store emphasis on large-scale tank warfare understates the broader simulation layer: soldier morale, fatigue, experience, vehicle subsystems, weather, visibility, and terrain all affect combat. The result is framed as a commander’s war game rather than a simple tank-focused action title.
What is Graviteam Tactics: Operation Star?
Command Soviet and German forces during the Battle of Kharkov across 8 operations.
The game includes more than 60 units from the Soviet Union, Germany, and the UK, with vehicles such as the Tiger, Matilda, and KV-1 in multiple variants. Battles take place across landscapes covering over 260 sq km, with quick battles available throughout operation areas. Soldier experience, fatigue, and morale affect behavior, while damage can separately affect vehicle engines, suspension, weapons, and aiming systems.
