Our take on GRAPPIN
Rather than using combat as the central action-adventure convention, GRAPPIN makes grappling-hook movement, climbing, and platforming the main activity. Its structure also centers on one upward journey toward a mountain summit, with Relics serving as optional discoveries along the route.
What is GRAPPIN?
GRAPPIN is a first-person adventure game built around climbing and platforming with a grappling-hook artifact called the Grip.
After awakening and finding the Grip, the player travels toward the summit of the highest mountain to return it to the Grip Shrine. The ascent crosses varied environments, including lava caves and ridges, with obstacles that require use of the grappling hook. More than 50 hidden Relics can be collected while investigating the mystery of the Grip and the mountain. The game includes colorful environments and a soundtrack by Benoît Malis. It is fully compatible with Steam Deck. The Deluxe Edition adds an official soundtrack containing close to an hour of original music.
