Its defining mechanic is a car system that lets racers combine two power-ups on the fly, with the resulting item used against rivals or shared with teammates.
What is GRAL?
GRAL is a futuristic racing game with combat, set in a championship between civilizations from different galaxies.
Races take place on branching circuits with shortcuts, jumps, steep curves and sections that cars can traverse upside down. Vehicles use weapons to attack rivals or assist teammates, and the Link Sync Drive System can combine two power-ups during a race or let players share one with a teammate. Players create a team, choose its members in the event lobby and compete across six modes: Career, League, Team, Lone Wolf, Time Attack and Knockout.
The final version lists 5 vehicles, 3 vehicle tiers, 5 planets, 24 tracks and 9 power-ups. Play options include single-player, split-screen for up to 4 players and online races; AI bots can fill multiplayer matches while other players join.
