What is Glider Island?
Glider Island is a VR hang-gliding game built around timed score runs.
Each session lasts 10 minutes, during which players collect hoops while staying airborne with a limited rocket booster. Blue spirals placed around each island replenish fuel, so route planning includes deciding when to pursue them. Three maps are available: Forest Island has 150 hoops and recurring thunderstorms, Volcano Island has 175 hoops and lava bombs, and Desert Island has 200 hoops with dust storms, reduced visibility, and wind. Controls support VR hand controllers, head movement, Xbox controllers, and mouse and keyboard. Monthly tournaments use in-game and online leaderboards, with Amazon Gift Cards offered to top winners. The game also supports location-based arcade licensing.
