We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who enjoy scanning crowds for a specific target rather than open-ended shooting
- Players who prefer short, mission-based sniper challenges over broad campaign structures
- Score-focused players interested in replaying missions under stricter aiming conditions
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking varied combat encounters may find the repeated identify-and-shoot loop narrow.
- Players who want forgiving aiming may find the one-chance premise and penalty for shooting innocents demanding.
- Players looking for a long campaign may find 12 adventure missions and their Elite replays limited in scope.
Our take on Geometric Sniper
The focus on identifying one target at a time keeps the play centered on observation and precision, but leaves little room for varied combat. Elite mode adds a stricter replay option, though it repeats the same 12 missions.
What is Geometric Sniper?
Geometric Sniper follows Andrew, a sniper assigned to secret missions while reflecting on his past and career.
Before each mission, players review a target photo and intelligence, then search a crowd and shoot the correct person before they escape. The adventure mode contains 12 missions, with target and object positions randomized between runs. A separate mode asks players to locate and shoot objects scattered through the environments. Completing adventure mode unlocks Elite mode, which repeats the 12 missions without zoom or aim stabilization and adds a ranking. Rankings cover adventure and Elite play; shooting innocent characters costs rank points. The game also includes Steam Community support for sharing screenshots and feedback.
How Geometric Sniper plays
- 01Randomized placements
- Targets and objects change location between runs, altering where players need to search.
- 02Object-shooting mode
- A separate challenge centers on finding scattered objects and hitting them quickly and precisely.
- 03Elite mode
- After adventure mode is complete, its 12 missions can be replayed without zoom or aim stabilization.
- 04Mode rankings
- Adventure and Elite rankings account for lost points when innocent characters are shot.
