Our take on GENBA no Kizuna
The game trades broad gameplay variety for a focused investigation format. Searches, interviews, evidence checks, and branching conclusions shape the mystery, leaving little room for combat or other action systems.
What is GENBA no Kizuna?
A body found at the Kaseki Residence begins a Mesozoic-themed murder mystery.
Four rookie investigators, each specializing in a different area of crime scene work, must identify the victim, reconstruct the events, and determine who is responsible. Depending on the role assumed, players can investigate the scene, examine the body, or interview people involved. A digital notebook records clues, evidence, case details, and character information. Choices affect detective rank, dialogue, relationships, and bonus content. Evidence presentation supports deductions, while different conclusions can lead to different endings. The game includes team bonding scenes, unlockable gallery material and bonus scenes, 30 soundtrack tracks, more than 300,000 words, and 12–16 hours of playtime depending on reading speed and thoroughness.
