Our take on Gathering Sky
Rather than centering an adventure on characters, dialogue, or combat, the game uses flock movement and flight through the sky to convey its story. Its under-one-hour structure also replaces the longer progression commonly associated with adventure games.
What is Gathering Sky?
Guide a flock of birds through a journey across the sky, beginning with one bird and expanding the group as it moves through a distant world.
Mouse controls steer the flock, while the birds can also follow their own paths. Wind shapes the flight, and the experience presents an emotional story without dialogue or text. An original score by Dren McDonald, performed by the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, accompanies the journey. The game can be completed in under an hour and is intended for players of any skill level.
