Civilians may alert law enforcement, whose response can include police, SWAT, or military forces depending on player actions. Businesses provide access to medicine and ammunition.
Players can use crowds and traffic to conceal themselves, while other players may also be disguised among civilians. Matches feature cars, planes, boats, and helicopters, with driving and piloting alongside shooter combat. The game also has an online free-roaming mode and seasonal content with distinct game modes. It supports seated and room-scale VR.
