Our take on Fusion
Rather than treating alchemy as a standalone combination puzzle, Fusion places it inside a quest-led fantasy narrative with character conversations. Its structure also adds unrelated-feeling diversions, from chimera encounters to tea brewing and cookie clicking, instead of keeping every activity tied to recipe discovery.
What is Fusion?
Combine elements in a puzzle game with visual-novel elements set in a fantasy world after a global cataclysm.
The game begins with four basic components, then expands into increasingly complex recipes and more than 1000 discoverable elements. Quests open new areas and reveal parts of the world's history. Along the way, conversations with elves, dragons, dwarves, Valkyries, spiders, and other inhabitants provide character stories. Progress also unlocks mini-games alongside the central combination mechanics, including activities involving a bar, chimeras, tea brewing, plant cultivation, and repeated cookie clicking. The overall structure combines alchemy puzzles, quests, character conversations, and side activities as the player advances toward becoming a legendary alchemist.
