Our take on Further Still: Survivors
The build-focused design gives up a more tightly authored combat path: much of the experience depends on testing combinations, upgrading equipment, and pushing a run rather than following a fixed sequence of encounters.
What is Further Still: Survivors?
Further Still: Survivors is a solo action game built around surviving an endless monster horde.
Players assemble combat builds from weapons, spells, armour, equipment, and other abilities, then improve those choices as they play. Weapons can be evolved and upgraded, while gear can be acquired, enhanced, and selected for each combat run. Active abilities add direct input during battles rather than relying only on passive effects. The game combines retro SNES-style visuals with influences from Magic Survival and Vampire Survivors, while using a slower pace and a stronger meta-progression focus. Its build system invites experimentation, including combinations intended to become exceptionally strong as players continue pushing their run.
