Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want leisurely turn-based planning may hit a wall when waiting gives the beasts their own move.

- Players who prefer direct real-time combat may not enjoy the turn-based movement and placement system.
Our take on Fungus Reaper
The bounce point arrives when a turn-based encounter becomes time-pressured: taking too long lets the beasts move. Players who need unlimited planning time may hit that clock before the creature-placement system has room to click.
What is Fungus Reaper?
Fungus Reaper is a turn-based tower defense roguelite set in a forest where the protagonist searches for a captured partner and an explanation.
During each run, players gather mushlings, magical creatures whose abilities can be combined through careful placement. Movement is tactical: characters can jump over mushlings or teleport to change position against hostile beasts. Although combat is turn-based, a running clock means delaying too long gives the beasts an opportunity to move. At the end of a day, collected mushlings can become soup, granting the reaper additional strength. Each adventure changes the forest, while different creature selections allow runs to be customized around different playstyles.
How Fungus Reaper plays

- 03Timed Turns

- 04Changing Forest
- The forest layout changes between adventures, requiring adjustments to each run.
- 05Soup Transformation
- Mushlings collected during the day can be converted into soup that strengthens the reaper.
