Our take on From Madness with Love
The defining premise is failed communication: each of the four potential partners is difficult for the protagonist to understand in a different way, from gibberish to an indecipherable foreign language.
What is From Madness with Love?
This dating simulation follows a high school sophomore who transfers to a private school for wealthy students after the previous school was bombed by terrorists.
Over one year of school life, the protagonist interacts with four guys and makes choices that build a relationship with a chosen character. Further interactions bring challenges and reveal secrets, with the possibility of reaching a happy ending. The cast includes a cheerful student who speaks in incomprehensible gibberish, a school nurse with a potentially darker side, a boy who avoids conversation and studies the occult, and a student council president who speaks an indecipherable foreign language.
The game uses pixel art and is fully voiced in Japanese. Content includes strong language, sensitive subjects, violence, horror, unreasonable scenarios, unintelligible nonsense, and very loud noises.
