Our take on Fragmental
The single-screen arena format keeps every opponent visible, but it leaves little room for concealment or recovery. Limited ammunition and one-shot kills also reduce tolerance for mistakes, making each weapon change and movement decision immediately consequential.
What is Fragmental?
Fragmental is a competitive and cooperative twin-stick shooter built for couch play with 2–4 players or AI opponents.
Matches take place on a single screen across more than 100 shifting arenas filled with hazards. Limited ammunition encourages weapon changes, while one-shot kills make reactions, positioning, tactics, and luck important. The game includes 22 weapons, six power-up modifiers, and Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Onslaught, Survival, and Team Survival modes. Its multi-round matches are fast and unpredictable, with players facing explosive arenas and changing combat conditions. Fragmental requires a controller to play.
